He is an upright friend and companion who will try anything to overcome a task given by his team.

Doraemon is sent back to improve Nobita's circustances so that his descendants may enjoy a better future. In a typical chapter, Nobita comes home crying about problems he faces, Doraemon always offers helpful advise to his problems.
